Protoyping: Automatic food dispensing machine
Budget: $30 – $900 USD
Hi there! I'm a chef who would like to automate the mise en place process in the kitchen. Preferably using off-the-shelves boards (e.g. arduino) to create working prototypes.
Prototypes required
1. A dispensing machine that weighs and dispense dry food ingredients (e.g. flour or beans)
2. A convevyor belt which we can place bowls/jars, and stops in front of the machine to collect the dispensed food
You may use a load cell module with max capacity of 1kg, and machine should be able to draw power from socket or usb (not battery).
I would like to control the machines via an android app; to specify dispensing weight, number of bowls to fill, what time to start dispensing, and also able to queue multiple dispensing cycles.
Machine should be able to execute a continuous dispensing cycle like this; after filling 5 bowls of 500g flour, next fill 2 bowls of 100g flour.
Keep in mind that it should be an expandable system; in case I want to install more dispensing machines for more ingredients in the future.
