I'm looking for an experienced Freelancer to assist with a straightforward yet technically challenging project. The task involves developing a program for Printed Circuit Board (PCB) detection, alignment checking, and coordinate extraction.
The program needs to cater to two PCB sizes: 24 x 18 and 12 x 9. On initiating the program, it should request the user to upload an 8-bit unsigned image of the PCB. Upon uploading, the program will facilitate two image displays: one that showcases the original upload and another presenting the processed image - the results of PCB detection and alignment.
Key tasks that the program should execute are:
Identify the rectangular shape or the edges of the PCB.
Assess the PCB's centering and alignment.
Render the x, y coordinates of the PCB to highlight its location.
The operation flow of the program should be as follows:
Open a dialog window for the user to choose the PCB image file.
Load the selected image file.
Leverage efficient algorithms to detect the rectangular shape or edges of the PCB.
Evaluate if the PCB is correctly centered or aligned based on preset criteria.
Illustrate the original image and the processed image (showcasing detection and alignment outcomes) in two different windows.
Output the x, y coordinates of the PCB to determine its positioning.
