Port Github ESP32 Project to PlatformIO
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm a retired hardware/software engineer and stopped coding around 2019. I want to keep my coding skills fresh so I'd like to port an existing open-source ESP32 Github project into my favorite development IDE, PlatformIO
Here is what I need:
• Create a clean PlatformIO project directory that contains two specific example programs from the GitHub repository, bringing in every required library so the firmware compiles without warnings.
• Resolve any code-level or dependency issues that block a successful build and upload to a typical ESP32 DevKit board.
Acceptance criteria
1. `pio run` completes with no errors or unresolved libraries.
2. A concise “getting started” note explains how to open, build, and extend the project in PlatformIO IDE.
If you have recent, hands-on ESP32 and PlatformIO experience—especially with library integration and GitHub Actions—I would love to work with you.
