OBD2 send and receive commands from Raspberry Pi or Arduino or PC
Budget: $2,000 – $6,000 HKD
Language use for the development can be Python, JS or C#
Phase 1 will be on the collection of OBD2 data to MySQL
Hardware either Raspberry Pi or standard windows PC notebook.
The system will scan the COMM port and build a connection between the computer and the OBD2 device.
1. select one or more commands to OBD2 from a list of all available commands
2. input a frequency to fire the commands and also the time duration to stop.
3.1 Save the command list and frequency for future use and modification (optional)
3.2 fire the commands to the OBD2 accordingly repeat according to the frequency, data will be saved to local storage (e.g. SD card) and/or send to a MySQL server thru SIMM card
4. Collect the information from the OBD2 and insert it into the MySQL table with a timestamp
5. at the same time we need to collect the GPS location to the same records also
The developer may need to advise the hardware to use for the above development
