VB.NET programm and Arduino Data Viewer and serial comm

I need a straightforward Visual Basic .NET desktop app that opens a serial connection to an Arduino, receives live sensor readings, and displays them clearly on-screen.

Scope is intentionally lean: a single WinForms (or WPF) window, use of the SerialPort class, and real-time numeric or simple graphical updates for each incoming value. A quick settings panel for COM port, baud rate, and start/stop will be enough for this first iteration.

Please share a brief note on similar VB.NET-to-Arduino or other serial comm projects you have completed so I know you’re comfortable with this workflow. Deliver the compiled EXE and well-commented source code so I can build on it later in Visual Studio.
