DC Motor Performance Measurement Device
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We are seeking a skilled professional or team with expertise in electronics and microcontrollers to help us develop a device similar to the Mic Labo Motor Bootcamp. (https://youtu.be/ERFCUfYb7qA?si=RfgEvSCJkysB6H_M)
This device will be used to measure the performance of DC motors, including RPM, torque, and power.
Project Specifications:
1. Core Functions:
The device must be able to measure and display RPM, torque, and power of a DC motor in real-time.
It should include a feature to record measurement data and display it on a screen (e.g., OLED or LCD).
2. Components to Be Used:
Microcontroller (e.g., Arduino, ESP32, or equivalent).
RPM sensor (e.g., optocoupler or hall-effect sensor).
Torque, Voltage and current sensors for power calculation.
Display screen for data visualization (OLED, LCD, or TFT).
3. Physical Design:
Compact and portable design.
Well-designed electronic circuitry to ensure measurement stability and accuracy.
Software Development:
4. Efficient and stable microcontroller code to read and process sensor data.
A simple GUI on the screen to display data.
Optional: Capability to connect the device to a PC via USB or Bluetooth for further data analysis.
5. Documentation:
Complete documentation on how to use the device.
Circuit schematics and source code to be included.
6. Experience and Qualifications:
Experience in developing similar electronics projects.
Portfolio or examples of previous projects will be highly considered.
7. Timeline:
The project is expected to be completed within [specify your desired timeline, e.g., 4 weeks].
Budget:
