Enhance Arduino-Controlled Spiral GCode Functionality

I have an existing 2D spiral-making GCode that is currently used for a delta robot controlled by Arduino. I'm seeking expertise to modify this code in order to not only alter the initial starting point of the spiral, but also adjust its speed and potentially add some extra features.
In the current setup, the spiral initiates from the center, but I want the modifications to allow the spiral to start from the perimeter. Your job would also include explaining certain parts of the code to me, enabling me to adjust parameters myself in the future.
