ESP32 Arduino Sketch and Google Sheets Script
We are looking for a skilled developer to create a simple ESP32 Arduino sketch along with a script for Google Sheets. The purpose of the following system will be to determine when an ESP32 starts running and when it stops running and to determine how long it was running for and how long it was not running for.
Create an Arduino sketch running on an ESP32. The sketch will send a message to a Google Sheet every ten seconds.
Create a Google Sheet to receive the messages and record the time when messages are received.
The first message after a period of not receiving any messages will be a start time. When new messages are received, the time elapsed between the start time and the current message will be calculated and indicated as ON time. Each time a new message is received, the ON time will be calculated.
If no message is received within 30 seconds of the previous message, it will be considered that the ESP is now OFF.
If a new message is received at least more than 30 seconds later than the previous message, it will be considered that the ESP is now running again and a new start time will be recorded.
The elapsed time between the previous message and this new message will be calculated and indicated as OFF time.
