ESP32 Firmware Development for Custom PCB
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I'm seeking a seasoned firmware engineer to develop and finalize firmware for a custom PCB project featuring an ESP32 MCU. The hardware design is completed, and you'll receive the backup files. The firmware needs to be uploaded to the MCU during assembly by PCBWay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop firmware for basic I/O operations, display control, and menu navigation.
- Implement GSM communication functions, particularly SMS handling.
- Ensure seamless compatibility with hardware peripherals, including buttons, an OLED display, and a SIM module.
- Provide a compiled binary/hex file for upload.
- Deliver comprehensive documentation for future firmware updates.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in embedded systems programming and MCU firmware development.
- Familiarity with PCBWay or similar PCB manufacturers.
- Proficient in C/C++ or Assembly programming.
- Prior experience with GSM protocols and display/menu control.
- Able to handle firmware for button inputs, LED control, and GSM communication.
