ESP32 Firmware Developer for Smart Pet Health Wearable (Heart Rate + Motion)

Job ID: 39530865

Budget: $60 – $120 USD

We are building a WHOOP-style health tracker for pets, starting with dogs, and are looking for a skilled firmware developer to create the first working prototype.

Responsibilities:
- Program an ESP32 board to read data from:
- MAX30102 (Heart Rate / HRV sensor)
- MPU6050 (Motion & Activity sensor)
- Transmit data via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to a mobile app (React Native).
- Optimize battery usage with low-power sleep modes.
- Calibrate data sampling intervals (e.g., every 5 seconds).
- Provide basic filtering for noise reduction on heart rate signals.
- Test output in a simple serial plotter + BLE broadcast format.

Deliverables:
- Fully functional firmware code for ESP32 (Arduino or PlatformIO).
- BLE data structure for heart rate, motion, and timestamp.
- Connection guide or documentation.
- Optional: Real-time serial output for debugging.

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience with wearable firmware development.
- Basic knowledge of pet/animal physiology.
