Dynamic Channel Switching for ESP32

Job ID: 38726046

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I'm looking for a developer who can modify the ESP32 core library. The modification should enable the esp_wifi_set_channel function to work even when there's a station connected to the softAP. This project requires compatibility with the ESP32 Arduino core library version 2.0.10.

The primary goal of this modification is to allow dynamic channel switching. This will help in enhancing the connectivity and performance of my ESP32, which I use in both SoftAP and Station modes simultaneously.

The ESP32 is primarily used to connect with smartphones and computers. Therefore, a deep understanding of both WiFi performance and stability is crucial. I need a professional who can ensure that the modifications made will not interfere with the normal operations of the ESP32, but rather enhance its capabilities.

Ideal skills and experience:
- Proficiency in C/C++ and experience with Arduino programming
- Extensive knowledge of ESP32 and its core libraries
- Previous experience in modifying ESP32 core libraries
- Understanding of WiFi operation modes and their performance implications
- Ability to ensure compatibility with specified core library versions.
