Custom Voice-Recording Doorbell Build

I want a doorbell that greets visitors in my own words rather than a stock chime. The idea is simple: when someone presses the wired push-button out front, a short voice message I have recorded should play through an internal speaker. I would like the device to let me change that message whenever I wish—ideally by holding a record button or by uploading a small audio file—so I can cycle between holiday greetings, personalised welcomes, or even funny reminders.

Because the trigger is just a standard, hard-wired bell button, please keep the electronics compact enough to mount near the chime transformer. Low-voltage power from the existing doorbell circuit is available, but I am open to adding a small DC adaptor if that simplifies things or gives cleaner audio.

What I need from you
• A working prototype that plays a clear, custom voice recording on each press
• An easy method for me to re-record or swap messages (onboard mic, micro-SD, or any straightforward approach you prefer)
• Schematics, parts list, and simple installation notes so I can reproduce or service the unit later
