Custom NFC Tag Creation and Integration in a Breadboard

Job ID: 39284348

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

Hi ,

I'm working on a project where I want to replace a standard NFC tag module with a custom-built NFC tag, designed from scratch. The idea is to eventually interface it with a reader module and read analog data from a gas sensor .

Here’s what I’m looking to do:

Build a custom NFC tag module that operates at 13.56 MHz
Implement the tag’s coil/antenna as an RLC circuit (resistor–inductor–capacitor based tuned circuit)
Create a breadboard implementation first as a proof-of-concept
Use an analog gas sensor connected to the NFC chip (ideally with an ADC input)
Ensure the data from the sensor is transmitted wirelessly to the NFC reader
On the reader side, I’ll be using Arduino(or any microcontroller) + any reader device to fetch, decode, and display the data.
I would also need guidance or code to read the data from the custom tag on Arduino
It would be great if you could help me with:

A full schematic and explanation of the working circuit
A BOM file with links to components
Guidance on coil design (tuned for 13.56 MHz)
Suggestions on NFC ICs compatible with this application
A step-by-step setup guide for testing the system
Once the breadboard version is working, I plan to integrate it into a real system using the NFC reader and a microcontroller.

Let me know if you can assist with this and feel free to ask anything.

Thanks,
Rohan
