I'm seeking an experienced electronics engineer or maker to help build a portable software-defined radio (SDR) device based on the RTL-SDR Blog V3 dongle.
The goal is to integrate this dongle into a handheld device that includes:
Core Features:
• Android-based platform (preferably Odroid-N2+) running SDR Touch or similar app
• Built-in rechargeable battery (Li-ion or Li-Po)
• 7-inch color LCD touchscreen
• USB OTG support for RTL-SDR V3 dongle
• Optional: Basic antenna mount or port
Deliverables:
• A working prototype of the portable SDR device
• A full Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Design files (3D enclosure if applicable)
• Basic instructions for setup and recharging
Preferred Hardware Options (open to suggestion):
• Android Single Board Computer (e.g., Odroid-N2+ preferred, Orange Pi, etc.)
• Raspberry Pi 4 running Android OS (if stable)
• Battery management and power delivery circuit
• Touchscreen-compatible LCD panel
