Bluetooth Standalone Audio Bridge Device Development
Budget: €1,500 – €3,000 EUR
Seeking an experienced embedded systems expert to assist in the development of a Bluetooth-based standalone device. The device will connect to both a mobile phone and a Bluetooth earphone, forwarding audio from the mobile device to the earphone via Bluetooth.
Project Goal:
To build a functional prototype or proof of concept (no custom PCB required) using commercially available development boards or modules. The prototype should:
• Connect to a mobile phone via Bluetooth (A2DP receiver).
• Simultaneously connect to a Bluetooth earphone (A2DP transmitter).
• Forward real-time audio from the mobile phone to the earphone with minimal latency.
Requirements:
• Identify and select appropriate off-the-shelf Bluetooth modules or development boards (e.g., ESP32, CSR8670, etc.).
• Develop and provide firmware capable of handling dual Bluetooth roles (A2DP receiver and A2DP transmitter).
• Deliver step-by-step instructions for building the setup using development boards (no custom PCB design required).
• Assist in testing and validating the audio streaming functionality.
• Provide technical guidance and documentation to support future hardware integration.
