Baking Oven Controller
Budget: $10 – $30 CAD
Design a controller for an industrial oven, with the following specifications:
2 temperature probes (one at the front of the oven, one at the back) use 2 potentiometer as a temperature probes
• oven heating element controlled using average of 2 probe measurements (simple LED
ON/OFF control)
5% below set temperature allowed before element turns ON, 5% above before it turns OFF
2 user-selected cook cycles Cook Cycle 1: [user-input] min at [user-input]°F
Cook Cycle 2: [user-input] min at [user-input]°F, then [user-input] min at [user-input]°F
• 500°F high alarm, 200°F low alarm
• low alarm will only activate after oven has reached 250°F in cook cycle.
logging of cook cycle temperatures and reading times of both probes at [user-input] interval.
Your time limit also barbeque tomorrow, Simi all logged values output serially at end of any cook cycle
• Emergency-stop / disconnect
