I am looking for help with an Arduino-based whole-home smart computer system. I would like to inquire about a freelance gig—specifying and programming a complete system as follows:
—whole “mini-homestead” home control system (off grid and ALL 12 volt DC) small inverter OK IF necessary
—totally wired, no Bluetooth or other wireless
—need to sense battery voltage and do switching 6 places—including timer
—need to turn off and on 12 volt solenoid watering valves via pre-set schedule
—need to easily modify watering schedule
—need to turn off all watering when optical rain sensor signals rain
—need to sense humidity at 12 locations
—need to sense temperature at 12 locations
—need to turn on 6 fans depending on humidity and temperature profile
—need larger size (7 inch plus) touch screen (12 volt dc?)
—FINAL VERSION OF hardware, software less than $700 (in quantity)
There may be more inputs and outputs, as yet unspecified. If it is something you want to consider, I want to have a PLC acquaintance with me on a 3 way phone/video conversation. He is more knowledgeable in controls etc, than I am and can communicate better on our needs…...Thanks…
