WS28xx Arduino controller display, 0-9 keypad, and FastLED
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
WS28xx Arduino controller
Description
My goals for the controller are:
• Reliability
• Stand-alone operation
• Simple control with ease of use
• Custom scenes and chases
Details:
• 1-99 keypad custom for selecting scenes/programs.
• I will supply and code the scenes
• LCD display
• Scene # and description i.e. “Rainbow Chase”
• Dimmer level 1-100
• Chase speed 1-100
• Four Hardware debounced tactical switches
• Dimmer / Brightness control
• Speed control for active (chase) scenes
I have used FastLED and a repurposed and gutted ADJ LED Controller (RGBW4C-IR) for testing and prototyping. 24-scene buttons are not enough scenes to cover all the holiday scenes and other static and active/chase scenes I require.

A keypad and display are my best options to simplify operation and flexibility. FastLED is my best choice. If possible, it would be great to have a verbal chat and conversation with you for help & guidance. There are too many options and technical details for written communication. LED pixel number future Bluetooth & network support
If you are available, please call me, or we can do a video chat. 724.417.4567
I intend to use Freelancer for labor payments, but it will be nearly impossible to use only text for communications.
My schedule now is limited, my father is 90 with dementia, and I take care of him. I have a lot on my plate right now and need to complete this project in 6 to 8 weeks. 99% of the work is software, but you will need two inexpensive items (under $25), a 0 to 9 keypad, and a 4 X 20 LCD display for testing the software.
