Arduino-controlled ball-valve for irrigation project
Budget: €1,500 – €3,000 EUR
I have a small vertical garden supplied with water from a 40 l container (upper left, in video) run through a set of gardena hoses. It's currently turned on and off manually. However, I would like that to programmable for when on vacation. The problem, however is that the gravity-pressure from the container is not large enough to push through most of-the-shelf systems, I think, probably because they are these tight electromagnetic valves. I therefore want to buy a solution that can overcome this. I call it an Arduino-controlled ball-valve because I think that would be a neat solution, but really anything you suggest that convincingly sounds like it would work is something I'm interested.
