Arduino code for robot
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am looking for a freelancer to complete a program and circuit for Robot, an interactive robotic sculpture that detects and responds to its environment. Your background in computer and electrical engineering would make you a great candidate.
The Robot uses an Arduino or Teensy to run battery powered stepper motors with encoders, sensors, and LEDs using the Arduino (C++) program.
All the components have been prototyped, but they need to be combined, printed, powered, and tested to make it ready for exhibition.
White LEDs fade on and off and Stepper motors attached to the legs run a set path affirmed by the encoders, while the sensors are scanning the area for a person. When a person is detected the motors attached to the legs stop, LEDs switch to a strobing red, and the head turns towards the viewer until there is no person detected. Then the Robot resumes walking its set path looking ahead, with fading white LEDs.
