Arduino Zero Circuitry Programming Specialist

Job ID: 38111491

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I'm in need of an Arduino expert who is adept at programming a small Arduino circuit to control LEDs, a motor, and sound. It will be integrated into a small, Matchbox/Hot Wheels-sized fire truck. The LEDS will flash alternately to represent the emergency lights. The motor will power the back wheels and the sound will play through a small speaker as a siren and horn.

Here are the requirements for the project:

I believe the Arduino MKR Zero would be a good fit since it has the integrated micro SD card holder and sound processing capabilities. It also has an integrated battery charger. The Arduino needs to be powered by a rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery like 3.7 Volts.

- Control LEDs: I believe I can get by with two white 3mm LEDs. I will install fibre-optics to transfer the light from the LEDs to various lenses on the fire truck. The LEDs should flash alternately.

- Control Motor: Apart from the LEDs, the circuit should also be able to control a small 3-4 V motor. A potentiometer should control how fast the motor turns in order to power the speed of the fire truck.

- Control Sound: The Arduino MKR Zero should be able to output a sound file (either WAV or MP3) to two very small speakers. The sound file would be a siren with an intermittent horn. I can compose the sound file myself and load it onto the Arduino. There should be a separate potentiometer to control the sound volume.

It would be nice if the battery could last an hour or so on a full charge. Once installed into the fire truck, the battery should be able to be recharged through the onboard USB port so as not to have to remove it from the fire truck. Obviously, this would all have to be very small. I have measured the width of the Arduino MKR Zero (about 1") and it should fit within the fire truck no problem. There is limited space above the board for the battery, motor and speakers.

Skills and Experience Required:
- Expertise in Arduino circuitry and programming.
- Past experience in managing LEDs, motor, and sound on a single circuit.
- Proficiency in developing and testing circuit patterns.
- Ability to deliver tasks on time.

Looking for a dedicated professional who can complete this task effectively.
