Arduino Uno stepper motor linear slide with limit switches, LED
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
i need to to run a linear axis with 2 limit switches one on each end. the motor which is used is a stepper motor. It has to run with different speeds, which can be set through a potentiometer. When the left button is pressed, the carriage moves to the left till it hits the limit switch OR the stop button is pressed.
Any movement (left or right) would turn on a LED, if the stop button is pressed OR any of the limit switches is hit, the LED should turn off
When any limit switch is hit the motor will stop and wait till the opposite button is pressed. and then move
to the other direction
ON button will turn on the LED
OFF button will turn OFF the LED (OFF will only turn OFF the LED if there is no movement of the motor)
Hardware is available, Just need the Arduino-Code to run the system.
No display needed
