Arduino Irrigation Controller

Job ID: 33589881

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

Not sure about questionnaire regarding Team Input business, so I checked individual.

My project: Say Valve #1 is open, I want to turn on Valve #2 to limit stop (and/or 12v dc motor torque-up) as each valve fully opens or closes, I'll probably use proximity sensors, it is outdoors and limit switches would be rather problematic, I'll mount, then wire my 12v dc proximity sensors, to your input and/or output to-or-thru my relays. Motors are around 40 amps, with recommended cable #6 gauge so I'll probably use an outdoor box for my relays. I can supply an outdoor box for the Arduino.

Once Valve #2 is open, another 12v dc motor will close Valve #1. I prefer a field timer that will begin adjustable countdown when my PID closes on pump pressure; probably 3 hour sets. If no appropriate pots available for field setting my sets, I'll calculate a closer on-and-off duration; which may change as temperature shifts to summer and set #1 and set #2 require less or more water.

I have 115v ac on site. My 12v dc will be provided by lead-acid car batteries.
