Arduino and ESP32S3 sense, basic setup
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I would like an effortless relationship with a confident professional who completes work in a tidy and time effective manner.
The job begins 15th January and phases should occur on a monthly basis for several months.
Clear and consistent communication is of paramount importance.
Following a brief NDA agreement, I require the successful candidate to be very familiar in coding for the Arduino range of boards as well as the ESP32(S3 sense). In addition, you would be required to compose a simple, welcoming web interface for the ESP, confirming the function of the components.
The components will be unified through a purpose built board and include:
· ESP32S3 sense
o Handles internet connectivity, camera and storage. Includes face tracking, upload of data from: distance, light and microphone sensors connected to PCB.
· AtMega chip
· H-bridge
o Handles DC motors
· 1 or 2x micro servos for movement of the upper part of the unit.
· 2x 3.7v DC motors
o For all directions of driving and swivel
· 2 sensors (distance and light)
o To protect from obstacles or drops and identify possible points of interest
· 1.3inch colour screen
o Primarily for facial expression, smooth and simple illustrations, to be considered at a later date.
· 2 or 3 microphones
o For sensing front and either side of rear (preferably 2 mics + ESP onboard mic).
· 5v fan
o For cooling ESP/Screen area in the upper part of the unit
· Speaker
o Primarily for talking to user, audio feedback sounds.
If you are confident you have ample experience and are up to the task, please get in touch to discuss your suitability for this role. I would rather a good long term relationship - not to have to be bothered with the whole interview process the next time I would like something done. Also there will be other competitive offers in my inbox so it may increase your chances to bare that in mind.
