Arduino Code with RS485 Modbus
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I am developing a project where i am using this industrial arduino board https://comfiletech.com/embedded-controller/fa-duino-32ta-industrial-arduino/. I have successfully completed all the other features which i need to add to this project. One last item is to add 2 angle sensos to it. Since i have used up all the other inputs RS232 and Analog 4-20 mA, i am left with RS 485 input. As per the board manufacturer the RS485 input is a serial3 input. I am trying to communicate it with an inclinometer as per attached docs. The Inclinometers came with a programming software where in have set its baud rate to 9600 and addresses as 0x50 and 0x51. This can be changed if required.
Now, i want someone to make a small code snippet in Arduino IDE which i can use to get the Angle X, Y, Z from Inclinometer 1 and X,Y,Z angle from inclinometer 2 also using RS485 Modbus on Serial3 and assign the angles to respective float or double variables. Rest of the processing on these variable would be done by me.
Its a very small project and anyone with a good Arduino and RS485 modbus knowledge can do it quite fast.
