I require the creation of a Go Kart lap counter using an Arduino kit, which is optimally designed for real-time updates of the number of laps completed.
This device should feature:
- LED digital display: This screen will offer a clear and concise view of the information without the need to interact with it.
- Trigger by a specific event: The counter should initiate when crossing the starting line, rather than manually or when the Kart starts.
Ideally, the right candidate for this project should be experienced in working with Arduino kits, have a good understanding of electronics, and possess the ability to create an efficient, reliable and user-friendly system. Knowledge of Go Kart racing and understanding of race lap counting would be beneficial.
