Arduino-Based Derby Car Timing System

Job ID: 38126062

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I'm seeking a seasoned freelancer to devise a Derby car timer using Arduino Uno. The expected outcome will be a two-lane track device, with the ability to dictate the start and end of races, as well as display grades systematically.

Key Features Needed:
- Start Line Servo: To exhibit a complete rotation signaling the race's commencement.
- Finish Line Infrared Sensors: These will be strategically positioned to detect the end of the competition.
- Two-Lane Implementation: The structure should accommodate a dual lane setup.
- Display: 7-Segment LED HT16K33 Backpack above each lane to show timing results.
- Winner Identification Feature: An 8x8 matrix screen for indicating 1st and 2nd place finishes.

Ideal Skills and Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Arduino programming language.
- In-depth understanding of microcontroller-based systems.
- Hands-on experience with infrared sensor technology.
- Ability to integrate multiple components into one cohesive, functioning system.
- Practical knowledge of LED Display systems, specifically the 7-Segment LED HT16K33 Backpack.
- Comfortable with crafting solutions for race-based project requirements.

In bidding, please showcase your experience with Arduino Uno projects, and if possible, share examples of similar timing systems you've created.
