Arduino Automation Engineer
Budget: $15 – $25 AUD
Project Specification for Arduino Engineer
Project Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Arduino engineer to lead a comprehensive project involving the development of a custom Arduino-based system. The project encompasses both the hardware (circuit design, component selection, and assembly) and software (Arduino code programming) aspects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and extensive experience in Arduino programming.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Oversee the entire project from conception to completion. This includes defining project scope, milestones, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with our team.
Circuit Design: Design and prototype the electronic circuitry required for the project. This involves selecting appropriate components, creating schematic diagrams, and ensuring the design meets all functional requirements.
Arduino Programming: Develop, test, and debug Arduino code that meets the project's functional and non-functional requirements. The code should be well-documented, efficient, and scalable.
Prototyping: Build and test prototypes to validate the design and functionality. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues and making necessary adjustments.
Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for the project, including circuit diagrams, code comments, and user manuals.
Vendor and Component Selection: Identify and select appropriate vendors for components, ensuring compatibility and cost-effectiveness.
Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous testing protocols to ensure the system's reliability, durability, and performance.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in Arduino-based projects, including both hardware design and software development.
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and experience in circuit design and prototyping.
Advanced proficiency in Arduino programming, with a portfolio of completed projects.
Familiarity with CAD software for creating schematic diagrams and PCB layouts.
Experience in selecting and sourcing electronic components.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead a project independently.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to document and explain technical details clearly.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
Project Deliverables:
A fully functional Arduino-based system, including hardware and software.
Complete schematic diagrams and PCB design files.
Well-documented and commented Arduino code.
A prototype of the system for testing and validation.
Comprehensive project documentation, including a user manual.
Additional Information:
The project timeline and budget will be discussed and finalized with the selected candidate.
Please provide a portfolio of previous Arduino projects, highlighting your experience in both circuit design and programming.
