Arduino - Assisted pushing for electric motor
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
MAIN TASK:
- Sense when a geared electric motor is pushed forward and activate the motor according so the pushing force felt by the person is null (like if it was free-wheeling)
HARDWARE CONFIGURATION:
- Geared Motor + Encoder + Arduino + Motor drive
OTHER DETAILS:
-As a geared motor offers rotation resistance (not free-wheeling) we would like to electronically control this aspect and have and have it electronically assisted so it behaves as a free-wheel (best practical example might be the power steering on a car). We can make this with mechanical clutches, but we would like to see if we could do it electronically.
OUR OFFER:
- We are looking to hire a freelancer with Arduino (or other MCU) skills to be able to develop the necessary portion of software / control code to perform the above mentioned task.
- We can support the prototype for this project (simple and basic hardware) buying the necessary hardware so the concept can be made and tested by the developer. DIY skills and past experience will be considered prior as well as background on this type of systems.
- Additional tasks (if any) or extra work/hardware will be paid accordingly.
CANDIDATES PROFILE:
- Candidates must briefly describe their skills related with this project and the capability to write this code. Using exiting or open-source codes will be prioritized so we can be efficient on the time to complete the task.
Thank you in advance and looking forward for your bids.
