Anti-Bark Sunrise Dog Alarm Prototype
Budget: £18 – £36 GBP
I'm seeking an experienced prototype engineer to help me design and build an Anti-Bark Sunrise Dog Alarm. This device should be capable of:
- Bark Detection: The device needs to listen for barking and trigger the alarm accordingly.
- Time-Based Activation: The alarm should also be able to be set for specific times.
- Sound or Light Alarm: The alarm should have both sound and light components to wake the dog (and/or owner) at sunrise.
I have no specific preference for the microcontroller used, so an expert opinion on whether an ESP32 or Arduino would be more suitable is welcome. The device will be powered via USB, so the design should account for being able to connect to a standard power source, ideally wireless/rechargable.
Ideal skills and experience for the job include:
- Proficiency with ESP32 and Arduino microcontrollers
- Experience in designing sound and light alarms
- Skills in bark detection technology implementation
- Circuit design (basic audio, LEDs, mic input)
- Ability to design for USB power supply
- Optional: CAD / 3D printing for early case
- Optional: BLE communication or collar vibration trigger
