Wood Office Build Guide & Materials

I already have the framing plans for a 1,000 sq ft office that will sit inside an existing metal building. What I still need is a clear, construction-ready roadmap:

• A complete lumber and hardware take-off, specified by length, grade, and quantity, so I can place a single, accurate order with my supplier.
• Detailed, sequential instructions—from slab layout, bottom-plate anchoring, and stud placement through header fabrication, rough openings, blocking, and tie-ins to the metal shell—written so an experienced carpenter can follow them without guesswork.
• Call-outs for fasteners, connectors, and any specialty items unique to building wood walls inside a steel structure (e.g., isolation strips, moisture barriers, Simpson ties).
• Suggested tool list and crew size per phase, with approximate time requirements, to help me schedule labor efficiently.
• Safety and code checks along the way to ensure the build passes inspection the first time.

The output can be a PDF or Word document; diagrams can be sketched in CAD, SketchUp, or hand-drawn as long as dimensions and notes are crystal-clear.
