Smart Transformation of Open Terrace
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Terrace Office-Bedroom Smart Conversion
My open terrace has to become a seamless blend of productive workspace and restful bedroom, each given equal importance. On the office side I need a thoughtfully placed workstation area with ergonomic furniture layout, ample power and data points, good task lighting and provision for smart controls. No separate meeting zone or large storage wall is required, though designs that can flex for future add-ons are welcome. The bedroom portion must center on a comfortable sleeping area that flows naturally from the work zone yet still feels private; built-in wardrobes or media units are optional extras if they can fit without crowding the plan. Overall, the look should feel modern, energy-efficient and “smart”—think automated lighting, climate control and space-saving furniture solutions. Deliverables • 2D floor plan showing clear division of work-and-sleep zones • 3D renders or walkthroughs that illustrate materials, lighting mood and smart elements • Basic electrical/lighting layout highlighting automation points • Itemised furniture & materials list with recommended specifications Please base the design on standard construction practices and provide files in formats that can be shared easily with local contractors (PDF, DWG or comparable).
