Freelance Architect – Project Scope
Project Overview
Satori is a contemporary boutique hotel development in Grenada currently undergoing a
comprehensive architectural redesign. The objective is to improve operational efficiency, simplify
construction where practical, refine the guest experience, and strengthen the project's modern
luxury identity while maintaining budget discipline. Existing architectural drawings and conceptual
renderings will be provided as the basis for the redesign.
Project Objectives
• Improve operational flow and circulation.
• Refine the hotel into a cohesive modern luxury boutique property.
• Simplify construction where possible without compromising design quality.
• Integrate rooftop guest amenities, renewable energy planning, and modern building systems.
• Produce a coordinated drawing package suitable for engineering and quantity surveying.
Scope of Work
Ground Floor: Redesign reception, lobby lounge, restaurant, bar, kitchen support spaces, gym, spa,
retail area, circulation, storage and back-of-house functions.
Guest Floors: Refine guest room layouts, improve bathroom efficiency, optimize circulation, and
maintain a consistent design language.
Penthouse: Update the penthouse layout to improve functionality and overall usability.
Rooftop: Develop a rooftop amenity deck incorporating a swimming pool, pavilion, bar, seating
areas, mechanical zone, solar integration, public washrooms, and service spaces.
Deliverables
• Updated architectural floor plans.
• Roof plan reflecting the new rooftop development.
• Building elevations as required.
• Front, rear, and cross sections.
• Updated architectural details where applicable.
• 3D renderings illustrating the final design direction.
• Coordinated PDF drawing package.
Files Provided
The successful freelancer will receive the original architectural drawings, conceptual renderings
illustrating the intended direction, and a detailed developer's brief describing design philosophy,
operational goals, and project priorities.
Ideal Candidate
Experience with boutique hotels, hospitality projects, or high-end residential architecture is strongly
preferred. Candidates should demonstrate thoughtful space planning, modern minimalist design,
and the ability to produce coordinated architectural documentation.
