Minimalist House Expansion, Meerut
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I’m ready to re-imagine my 50-year-old family home in Meerut so it comfortably fits our growing household. The target is simple and clear: increase usable floor area while keeping the design language clean and minimalist.
Scope
• Re-plan the existing footprint to carve out additional bedrooms, enlarge the living room, and open up the kitchen without compromising structural safety.
• Produce concept options, then develop the preferred solution into permit-ready drawings compliant with local bylaws.
• Coordinate any structural retrofitting that might be required for the new spans and openings.
Deliverables
1. Two or more concept layouts with area calculations.
2. Final architectural plans, sections and elevations (AutoCAD / Revit files + PDFs).
3. 3D views or SketchUp model to communicate the minimalist look and material palette.
4. A short note on structural implications for my contractor.
5. Bill of quantities for the architectural scope so I can budget the build.
Acceptance
I’ll sign off once the drawings are clear enough for municipal approval and the 3D views convincingly show the expanded bedrooms, living room and kitchen in a coherent minimalist style.
I’m based in Meerut, so on-site measurement visits and knowledge of local regulations are important. If you have recent residential work to show, especially anything minimalist, I’d love to see it when you respond.
