Indian Restaurant Decorator
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
We are taking over an existing restaurant in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland, and plan to transform it into an elegant, modern Indian restaurant that appeals to families, professionals, and tourists.
The project requires a complete redesign of the restaurant:
• Dining area (ambience, décor, seating layout, lighting).
• Kitchen (workflow optimization, compliance with safety and hygiene standards, equipment placement).
• Bar (design, functionality, integration with dining atmosphere).
• Façade and signage (without structural changes).
We are seeking an Interior Designer and/or Architect who can:
• Develop a comprehensive design concept (Indian-inspired elegance with contemporary touch).
• Create detailed layout plans for kitchen, bar, and dining area.
• Suggest façade improvements (signage, lighting, visual impact).
• Prepare a realistic budget plan for renovation and decoration.
• (Optional) Supervise the renovation and coordinate with local contractors.
Requirements:
• Proven experience with restaurants, bars, or hospitality projects.
• Strong understanding of kitchen ergonomics and bar design.
• Ability to work within a limited but optimized budget.
• Creativity to combine authentic Indian character with modern elegance.
• Knowledge of Swiss building/restaurant standards is a plus.
Deliverables:
• Moodboards / inspiration boards.
• 2D and ideally 3D layout plans (dining, kitchen, bar).
• List of recommended furniture, equipment, materials, colors, and lighting.
• Estimated budget for renovation.
Budget: Negotiable based on experience and scope.
Timeline: First design concepts expected within 3–4 weeks after engagement.
