Budget Rooftop Mandir & Garden Design

Job ID: 39798337

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

I need a clear, build-ready concept for converting my flat roof into a harmonious space that combines spirituality, greenery, and everyday utility without disturbing the existing structure. The brief is straightforward:

• A small, traditionally styled mandir should become the focal point. Proportions must respect Vastu principles for orientation and height, yet stay lightweight to avoid overloading the slab.

• Right above the internal staircase I must install a new water storage tank. Your layout should show exact placement, load-distribution details, and recommended support framing so I can hand it straight to my local builder.

• Around these elements I want a modest terrace garden filled mainly with flowering plants—think marigolds, jasmines, hibiscus—chosen for shallow soil depth and easy maintenance. Please work natural planters, drip-irrigation routing, and concealed drainage into the drawing.

All ideas have to keep construction and material costs low. Feel free to propose concrete, wood, metal or any sensible mix, as long as you justify how it stays within a tight budget and doesn’t interfere with the current waterproofing or plumbing lines.

Deliverables I expect:
1. Scaled roof layout (PDF + editable CAD) showing mandir, tank footprint, planter beds, access paths, and any railing or pergola suggestions.
2. Basic structural notes for the tank support and any new walls or partitions.
3. A concise bill of quantities with approximate material take-offs so I can price it locally.
4. Two or three rendered visuals that illustrate the final ambience, especially evening lighting around the mandir.

I’m available to share site photos, slab dimensions, and current load data as soon as we start. Let me know how quickly you can turn around the first draft and how many revisions you include.
