AutoCAD Layout Tutorial Needed
Budget: €8 – €30 EUR
I’m a first–year architecture student and, at this stage, what will help me most is a clear, hands-on walkthrough of AutoCAD—specifically focused on creating and managing layouts and templates. My coursework expects professional-looking drawing sets, but I’m still piecing together how title blocks, viewports, page setups, and reusable sheet templates all fit into an efficient workflow.
Here’s what I’m hoping to cover together:
• Setting up a clean template file with title blocks, layers, and annotation styles I can reuse across projects
• Organising multiple layout tabs, attaching viewports, controlling scales, and locking views
• Best practices for plotting to PDF so printed sheets match what’s on screen
We can work screen-to-screen over Zoom or similar. I’ll share sample studio assignments beforehand so the tutorial feels relevant to the kinds of drawings I’m producing. A short written cheat-sheet or a recorded session would be a perfect takeaway so I can revisit each step later.
If you’re comfortable guiding beginners through these layout fundamentals, I’m ready to start as soon as possible.
