Modern Apartment Interior Redesign
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I’m refreshing a three-bedroom apartment and want a cohesive modern look throughout, anchored by warm wood and other natural finishes. Each bedroom has an attached bathroom and should feel minimalist and highly functional—built-in storage, clean lines, no clutter.
Beyond the private rooms, I need a smart plan for the shared areas. The existing living room doubles as our everyday dining space; it simply needs a modern layout and furniture specification that complements the new scheme. The bigger challenge is the front drawing room: I’d like it visually separated from the circulation zone without enclosing it completely, so a well-detailed glass-and-timber partition or a similar light solution will be required. This drawing room will open onto a new conservatory-style dining area to be constructed on the terrace; integrating that new build—structure, finishes, glazing and furnishings—into the overall design is essential.
To keep the project organised, I’ll need a full package that includes:
• Concept mood boards establishing the modern, wood-accented palette
• Scaled floor plans with furniture layouts for every room, including the terrace dining addition
• 3D visualisations/renderings to confirm the look and feel before we move to site work
• Detailed joinery and partition drawings (especially for the drawing room divider and built-ins)
• A consolidated materials and FF&E schedule specifying woods, fabrics, lighting and accessories
All plans should be ready for hand-off to my local contractor, so accuracy in dimensions and clear material call-outs are a must.
