Building 3D Render, Plans & Sections – Design of Accessible Residential New Building (DIN 18040-2 Standard)
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
Project Description – Design of Accessible Residential New Building (DIN 18040-2 Standard)
We are looking for an experienced architect or architectural designer to support the redesign of Building Section B within the “Hundberg” project.
Building Section B will be newly constructed, while Sections A, C, and D remain existing structures. The project requires the development of two design variants based on an existing 3D base model.
Scope of Work:
• Creation of two revised 3D models (one per variant) based on the provided base model
• Use the existing 3D model and DWG files to develop a clean 3D CAD model in DWG format (for use in BricsCAD)
• Development of floor plans (ground floor, first floor, second floor/attic) for both variants (dimensions of the appartments without room arrangement for the appartments)
• Preparation of building sections
• One visualization per variant showing both courtyard and exterior sides
• Integration and optimization of staircase and elevator positioning
• Full compliance with DIN 18040
Key Requirements:
• Fully accessible design according to DIN 18040-2
• Integration of ramps on both courtyard sides
• Continuous exterior balcony (150 cm clear width)
• Wooden balconies and architectural language inspired by a traditional farmstead/courtyard ensemble (see visual reference)
• Avoid a “motel-like” appearance
• Economical layout (Variant 1) and architecturally refined attic solution (Variant 2)
• Compliance with defined wall thicknesses, room heights (2.50 m GF & FF), slab thicknesses, and structural specifications
The final deliverables must be consistent with the provided base model and all project documentation.
