Aquarium Expansion Cutaway Concept Illustration
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Our aquarium is preparing to add an entire new wing, and I need a single, high-resolution concept illustration that shows both the exterior shape of the building and a full cutaway of the interior. The piece must feel believable and architecturally sound, so a realistic rendering style is essential. At the same time, the scene should burst with vibrant, well-balanced color to match the energy of our exhibits.
Inside the cutaway, please make the following areas clearly visible and distinct:
• Aquatic exhibits with water tanks for animals like sea stars, crabs, and fish
• Vivid informational displays
• A touch tank (like a fake tide pool where people can interact with animals)
• Visitor pathways that guide foot traffic naturally
• A classroom space for educational programs
• Crafts & play space for children
• An outdoor garden zone
• A hands-on touch tank
Deliverables
• One detailed illustration at minimum 5000 px on the long edge (300 dpi), supplied as layered PSD or TIFF plus a flattened PNG/JPEG for quick viewing
• Colour palette and font (if any signage is included) noted in a small legend layer
• Up to two rounds of refinements after the first draft to fine-tune layout, colour balance, or minor content placement
The drawing can be created in Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, or a comparable digital tool—whatever lets you achieve crisp lines, accurate perspective and rich colour. I’ll provide floor-plan sketches and inspiration/reference photos once we start, and I’m happy to answer quick questions along the way so the design stays true to our vision.
