Commercial 3D Solar Cladding Revamp

Job ID: 40473196

Budget: $40 – $60 USD

I already have a complete 3-D model of a small commercial building, however I want two key changes made before we move on to detailed documentation and renders.

First, I need the façade re-skinned so that photovoltaic panels act as the exterior cladding. The intent is to keep the current massing and window rhythm, but replace existing materials with a seamless solar panel system. Model the panels accurately (size, thickness, joint pattern) so they look build-ready, and flag any shading or orientation issues you notice.

Second, the scheme currently reads as roughly three storeys; I would like it reduced to 2 ½. That means adjusting floor-to-floor heights, stair runs, core locations and any roof plant so the proportions still work and comply with basic commercial codes. Interior partitions can stay schematic—I mainly need the envelope and section corrected.

I will provide:
• The native model file (Revit 2023) plus exported IFC and DWG
• Reference elevations and the solar panel product data sheet

You will deliver back:
• Updated native model with clean families/layers
• Two to three high-quality exterior renders illustrating the new cladding
• A brief note on any code or constructability concerns you spot

If you prefer SketchUp, Archicad or Rhino, feel free to convert—just return a clean IFC as well. Timing is flexible but I’d like the first draft within a week so we can iterate once before final hand-off. Looking forward to seeing how you integrate the solar skin while tightening up the massing.
