Wisconsin Steel Hangar Plans
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a 44 ft × 60 ft pre-engineered steel frame that has already been fabricated and once stood at another location. I am moving it to a new site in Waukesha County, Wisconsin and need a full set of structural plans—sealed by a Wisconsin-licensed professional engineer—to secure my building permit.
Key project points
• Intended use: the re-erected structure will serve as an airplane hangar.
• Foundation: the new site will employ a grade-beam system; please size and reinforce it to local frost-depth and soil requirements.
• Scope beyond the original frame: I will be adding elements (door framing, bracing, and any code-required upgrades), so the drawings must reflect these additions.
Deliverables
1. Signed and stamped structural drawings (PDF plus one print-ready set) covering framing, connections, grade-beam foundation, and any added components.
2. Structural calculations package that aligns with current IBC, Wisconsin Commercial Building Code, and Waukesha County amendments.
3. A brief response sheet to address any county plan-review comments at no extra charge.
