Traditional combined with modernMaster Plan Development
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m assembling a full master plan for a new site and need an architect who can also collaborate seamlessly with a landscape engineer. The core of the commission is to shape welcoming traditional‐style residential layouts and thoughtfully integrated recreational areas; commercial parcels are not part of the current brief.
My surveyor is finalising the base map right now, so you’ll step in as soon as those drawings are ready and refine them into a cohesive site vision. I’ll share the preliminary CAD and PDF files the moment they land — you’ll then layer in zoning setbacks, circulation, grading and planting concepts that feel timeless rather than modern or eclectic.
Deliverables I expect:
• Conceptual and schematic site plans (DWG + PDF) highlighting residential blocks, open-space hierarchy and amenity zones
• Landscape master plan with grading cues, hardscape outline and signature planting palette suited to a traditional aesthetic
• A brief design narrative and key visuals or sketches that communicate the look and feel to local stakeholders
Please outline your workflow, relevant experience with traditional neighbourhood design, and the design tools you prefer (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, SketchUp, Lumion, etc.). I’d also appreciate a realistic turnaround time once the base files arrive. Looking forward to crafting a place that feels rooted and enduring together.
