Texas-Stamped RV Storage Plans
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
I’m preparing a permit package for a new covered-RV storage facility in Travis County, Texas. Each bay must measure 10 ft × 45 ft, built in groups of ten at a time, with a long-term site plan that packs in as many bays as the parcel allows.
Key parameters
• Structure: metal-frame, roofed, open-sided bays
• Utilities: one basic electrical hookup in each bay (just want the units to be able to charge battery’s, minimal supply )
• Layout: please compare single-row versus double-row arrangements so I can choose whichever yields the best circulation and count for the specific lot dimensions.
I need a full set of construction documents, sealed and stamped by a Texas-licensed engineer or architect, ready for Travis County submission. At minimum the package should include:
1. Site plan with grading, drainage, fire-lane and code setbacks clearly shown
2. Architectural and structural drawings for the modules, footing and slab details, wind-load calculations to current IBC/Texas codes
3. Electrical plan showing feed, panel sizing and bay receptacles
4. Phasing note or sheet showing how the first 10-unit build-out nests into the ultimate build-out
You’ll also supply a brief code analysis and any forms the county typically requests with engineer’s seal—this will streamline approvals.
I have the land survey in CAD/PDF ready to share once we begin. Please outline your experience with similar storage or light-industrial structures in Texas and confirm you can provide the signed & sealed set digitally (PDF) plus one hard copy if required.
