Sugar Shack Construction Plan Set
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I need a full set of permit-ready construction drawings for a 20' × 48' sugar shack that will be approved as an agricultural barn. The structure will stand on concrete footings with a 1-foot concrete perimeter wall and incorporate floor drains tied into a simple gravity outflow. Above the slab I’ll be using 8 × 8 cedar posts, matched with properly sized beams, and pre-built, engineer-stamped scissor trusses to give me a 12-foot eave height.
Openings are important: three oversized metal doors plus one metal garage door go on the long sides, and I want sliding windows for natural light and ventilation. The roof will be finished with metal sheets.
What I need from you
• Foundation, framing, roof, and drainage plans
• Elevations, sections, door/window schedule, connection details, and any calculations needed for the truss interface
• Notes that satisfy typical farm-use barn requirements so the county inspector can sign off without extra revisions
• Final deliverables in PDF for permitting and in DWG (or comparable CAD) for future edits
I’ll review for accuracy against the material list above and local code references; once everything matches, we’re done.
