Structural Layout to support a 2nd Floor

I’m adding a residential floor apartment to an existing wood and block framed structure and need clear, code-compliant guidance on where every new post and beam must land to support the second floor apartment. You’ll receive my full set of detailed architectural drawings.
Your task is to review those plans, run the necessary load calculations, and mark up the drawings with exact beam sizes, post locations, connection details, and any required footings so the framing crew can build with confidence and our inspector can sign off first time. The existing framing is all wood, so please stay within wood design parameters unless you see a critical need to introduce steel; if so, flag it and explain the rationale. Local residential code compliance is essential, and I’ll supply the jurisdiction’s amendments on request.
Deliverables:
• Marked-up structural plan (PDF + DWG) showing beam and post placement, sizes, and callouts
• Brief calculation report summarising load paths, reactions, and member sizing checks
• Connection/hardware schedule referencing readily available products
• One round of clarifications after I’ve reviewed the package
