Space-Smart In-Law Suite Extension

I need a thoughtful designer or architect to create a petite but fully functional extension to my existing bungalow. The goal is to give my elderly in-law an independent yet connected living area, even though the plot leaves almost no room to expand outward. Every square metre must count, so I’m looking for creative space-saving solutions, compact layouts, and seamless integration with the current structure and utilities.

Purpose
The extension will serve as additional space for an elderly in-law to live close by while maintaining privacy and comfort.

Scope of work
Please develop a concept that balances accessibility, natural light, and circulation within the tight footprint. I’ll need scaled floor plans, elevations, and 3D visualisations detailed enough for planning approval and for a builder to quote accurately. If you already work with Revit, SketchUp, or similar BIM/CAD tools, let me know—file compatibility matters to me.

Acceptance criteria
• Layout fits within existing boundaries without breaching setback rules
• All three amenity zones clearly defined and practically sized
• Drawings meet local residential building codes and are ready for submission
