Revise Detached ADU Plans
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
My detached ADU plans came back from the City with a round of building comments that must be cleared before approval. I need the full set revised and a clear, point-by-point response prepared so I can resubmit without another delay.
Scope
• Review the City’s building comment sheet in detail (PDF will be shared as soon as we start).
• Update architectural, structural, and life-safety sheets as required to satisfy those comments—this may include minor zoning adjustments, structural notes, or added accessibility details.
• Produce a concise response matrix that lists each City remark, the change you made, and the sheet where it appears.
Deliverables
1. Corrected plan set in PDF and original CAD/Revit files.
2. Response matrix (Excel or PDF).
3. Any new structural calculations or code citations referenced in the plans.
Acceptance Criteria
• Every City comment is answered in the matrix.
• Plan sheets are professionally formatted, signed and stamped if you are licensed to do so, and ready for direct upload to the permit portal.
• File naming follows the City’s checklist.
I will be available for quick clarifications and can turn comments around within a day. Looking forward to working with someone who knows ADU code requirements inside out.
