Residential Structural Design Consultation
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I need a licensed structural engineer to take my residential building concept from rough architectural plans to fully engineered construction documents. The scope covers load calculations, member sizing, foundation design, and compliant drawings ready for city submission. You will work with the latest Eurocode or ACI/IBC provisions (your recommendation is welcome) and coordinate any revisions with my architect so the structural layout aligns perfectly with the floor plan and aesthetic requirements.
Please provide:
• Signed structural calculations in PDF
• Detailed CAD drawings (DWG + PDF) including plans, sections, schedules, and connection details
• A short design brief explaining assumptions, software used, and governing codes
Experience with residential wood, steel, or reinforced-concrete framing is important; software such as ETABS, SAP2000, Robot, or equivalent will streamline collaboration. If you have local permitting experience, let me know—that could accelerate approvals.
Timeline and milestones are flexible; propose what you need after reviewing my preliminary plans.
