Residential Office Permit Plans

Job ID: 39959632

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m repurposing an existing bedroom in my Massachusetts home into a small-business office with zero structural alterations. To secure the city’s change-of-use permit, I need a Massachusetts-licensed architect or engineer to prepare and stamp the required drawings.

Scope of work
• Produce code-compliant architectural (and any minimal structural) drawings that satisfy local residential regulations for an office use.
• Include floor plan, occupancy classification, egress notes, life-safety/code analysis, and any load or energy data the city normally requests—even though no walls or systems are moving.
• Format finals as PDF for submission plus an editable CAD file for my records.

What I’m looking for
• Current Massachusetts licensure is essential; please include your license number and confirmation you can stamp the sheets.
• Briefly reference similar residential change-of-use permits you’ve completed in the state.

This is a focused, medium-scope assignment: clear, concise drawings with the comfort of a professional stamp so the permit desk can approve the space without delays.
